01All arrows point North

Desire is a key word at Nord Eiendomsmegling, and that is no coincidence. Our job is to create exactly that – a buyer's desire to choose your home over every other.

As the local estate agent for Kolbotn, Oppegård and the surrounding area, we know the market, the neighbourhoods and the people who want to live here. You are rarely alone in the market. There are always alternatives, so it is not enough for your home to seem “fine”. It has to feel more attractive, more complete and simply more right than whatever else buyers are looking at.

That is where we come in. We work deliberately on every part of the process – from how the home is presented visually to how it is communicated to the market. We make sure the right photographers, stylists and marketing tools are used, and that it all adds up to a whole that reaches the right buyers. Because when you sell the most important thing you own, “good enough” isn't good enough.

02The groundwork that really decides the sale

Many people think the sale starts the day the home goes on the market, but in our experience much of the result is decided long before. That is why we work closely and honestly with you as the seller from the very start. We give clear advice on what should be done, what actually has an effect – and what may not be necessary. It is not about doing as much as possible, but about doing the right things.

The new condition reports introduced in 2022 have made good groundwork even more important. They are far more thorough than before, with assessments of remaining lifespan and estimates of what repairs will cost. Our experience is clear: starting early and making a few simple, targeted improvements usually gives a better starting point – both in the report and on the market.

03Thorough and proper – every time

We care about doing things properly. That means no pre-emptive deals, no secret bids and no hidden conditions. We believe in openness, structure and a transparent process that everyone understands and trusts. Good groundwork combined with proper execution brings calm, security and better dynamics in the bidding – and that is exactly where the best results happen.

We have close to 30 years of experience, but that is not what we lean on. What we lean on is the way we work.

04The adviser's role

Are we different at Nord Eiendomsmegling? Many clients seem to think so. You won't meet us in a rehearsed role with tailored suits, pointed patent shoes and polished lines. We care more about being present, understanding your situation and giving advice that is actually relevant. We take our time – not because it sounds good, but because a good job requires it.

As a local agent, we want to be an adviser you can lean on throughout the process – not just the person who shows up when the photographer comes or the bidding starts.

05Security – for both sides of the table

Although we work on behalf of you as the seller, we want the buyer to feel secure throughout as well. The best sales happen where a well-prepared home meets a confident buyer. With us you are in safe hands – whichever side of the table you sit on when the contract is signed.
